Empire State Motorcycle Safety Education Program, Inc
is a Not for Profit 501(c)3 organization that is member supported aimed at promoting Motorcycle Awareness & the Benefits of Motorcycle Rider Education
Presently serving the Long Island, Lower Hudson Valley and NYC Metro Regions
The goal and primary directive of Empire State Motorcycle Safety Education Program (ESMSEP) is to go out and provide FREE informational education to drivers and especially motorcyclists about the risks associated with motorcycling on how we can take the steps to minimize them through increased awareness and learning. Too many motorcyclists are not even aware that they are unaware of the problems and hazards in day to day riding that could easily be avoided. As much as we need to always watch out for the “other guy,” the statistics and crash investigations all too often indicate that possibly 75% or more of the reported motorcycle crashes could have been avoided because of actions a rider did or did not do.
Based on those yearly statistics, ESMSEP was launch in 2014 as a member supported organization that offered a benefit program with discounts from our Sponsoring Partners . Our main focus was promoting information through open free seminars throughout the region we covered. In 2021, Empire State Motorcycle Safety Education Program 'shifted gears" and revamped our operation to be a source of information for clubs, organizations, manufacturers and local government and ended our membership program. Though our road may have changed, ESMSEP's destination and goals to Promote the Benefits of Rider Education and Motorcycle Awareness is the same and will continue to help make our traveled roads safer for all. |
